Castillo de Sajazarra is found in the locality of the same name, south of the Obarene Mountains and 12 kilometres west of Haro to the north of the province of Rioja, limited by Burgos and Álava.

The river Ea flows close to the cellar. It is a union point between various regions from Camino de Santiago, Miranda de Ebro and Vitoria.

The castle rises majestically from the village centre.
